da2 was one of the first games i ever played of the DA series + finished! yes it has its flaws but tbh - it's flawless to me! i loved the cast of characters it has, including hawke like TT_TT thinking abt them make me so emotional they're my special guys...

varric stuck out to me in particular bc it was the concept of a really strong platonic relationship - something that i love, love seeing in games + stories. just having someone who had ur back no matter what throughout the years, with no other motive than just love and caring for one another. it was really funny because at first i thought there was some ulterior motive (he looked a lil sneaky to me...idk the cadence of his voice made me think he was up to something), but just finding out he just wanted to help someone just to help them like. RAUUGHHH 👹💥💥💥

he (+ dead.pool!) have been with me since i was 16 so of course. i love him with my whole life. every time i see him, it's like home. warm + cozy - a fireplace in a tavern 💫 cheesy as hell but one of my favorite aspects in our story is growing old together, grey hair and all >_o

also, can we talk about his looks. hello. he's gorgeous !!! hooded /sunken in eyes - perfect nose. his scars. but we already knew that!
